Perky Pesto Pizza Recipe

Dough
Regular pizza dough (check our easy no-knead recipe or buy it fresh from your favorite pizzeria).
Base
Mix in equal proportion ricotta cheese and pesto*, add parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.
*Pesto can be store-bought or made by blending fresh basil leaves, olive oil, pine nuts and parmesan in a food processor.
Garnish
Thin slices of ripe tomatoes, shredded mozzarella cheese or grated Parmesan.
